Looking for a torrent server?

Torrents seem sto be quickest way for us as South African’s to watch series aswell as movies without waiting months for what we want to appear on TV. That if it ever does.

Unlike the US with their abundance of stations to choose from, we have 5 main stations of which  never relly show what you want to watch.

Personally i never watch TV anymore, everything i watch is downloaded or seen at the cinema.

Due to piracy issues some people steer clear of torrents and due to bandwidth issues others dont download because of the uploading. There are also security issues when using torrents.

For the past 2 years i myself have been using a Torrent server. I started using Torrentflux on linux but then switched to uTorrent on windows for ease of use.

The server does all the work and all i have to do is download via http / port 80 or ftp / port 21.

Since ISP’s do not throttle these ports you can download at full speed.

Personally i use a multi thread ftp client to download the files.

The other nice thing about a torrent server or seedbox is if there is a huge file to download or a file that is taking weeks due to seeders, you only need to worry about the file once it has downloaded onto the server then you can download the finished product without haveing to go through the irritation.

Although the unmetered / uncapped server is in Europe i hve had no issues with speed when downloading, no mtter what time of day it is.
